Since hardware failure is the biggest concern for custom PC buyers, a solid warranty builds trust and reduces the number of full returns you have to process.

Limited Hardware Warranty

Every Greendoor System PC is subjected to rigorous stress testing and quality control before shipping. However, in the event of hardware failure, our Limited Warranty has you covered.

1. Warranty Period

We provide a 1-year limited warranty on all hardware components starting from the date of delivery. This covers any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. Note that this limited hardware warranty only covers PCs purchased directly through the Greendoor Systems website (not Ebay, Jawa, etc).

2. What is Covered?

  • Component Failure: Any internal hardware (CPU, GPU, RAM, PSU, etc.) that fails due to a manufacturer defect.

  • Assembly Labor: We will replace or repair the faulty component at no cost for labor during the warranty period.

  • Technical Support: Remote troubleshooting and diagnostic assistance via email or phone.

3. What is NOT Covered?

To keep our pricing competitive and our builds reliable, the following are excluded:

  • Software Issues: Operating system crashes, viruses, or "bloatware" installed by the user.

  • User Negligence: Damage caused by drops, spills, electrical surges, or improper environmental conditions (e.g., extreme heat or dust buildup).

  • Unauthorized Modifications: Any damage caused by overclocking beyond factory limits, BIOS "flashing," or installing third-party hardware without consulting our support team.

  • Mining/Commercial Wear: Use of the system for cryptocurrency mining or 24/7 industrial loads beyond consumer-grade expectations.

    Note: If the system is found to have missing parts, signs of heavy use, or other user error issues, we reserve the right to invalidate the warranty entirely.

4. Repair & Replacement Process

If a hardware issue is identified:

  1. Remote Diagnostics: We will first attempt to resolve the issue through remote troubleshooting.

  2. RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization): If hardware failure is confirmed, we will issue an RMA. You will be responsible for shipping the unit to our facility.

  3. Repair or Replace: We will repair the unit using new or refurbished parts that are equivalent in performance. If a specific component is out of stock or discontinued, we will replace it with the closest modern equivalent.

Pro Tip: Keep your original PC box! Shipping a high-end PC in a standard box without the custom-molded foam significantly increases the risk of shipping damage, which is not covered under this warranty.

5. Limitation of Liability

Greendoor Systems not responsible for any data loss. We strongly recommend that customers maintain regular backups of their important files. Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the hardware itself.

6. How to Initiate a Warranty Claim

To start the process, please contact our support team at info@greendoor-systems.com with your order number and reason for requesting the repair. We will schedule a remote diagnostic with you, and then provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed shipping instructions if required.
