Limited Hardware Warranty
OVERVIEW
GreenDoor Systems provides a limited hardware warranty for custom-built computer systems purchased directly from our website. This warranty is intended to cover verified defects in materials or workmanship under normal consumer use and is not a replacement for manufacturer warranties.
This warranty is intentionally limited and does not function as a satisfaction guarantee, performance guarantee, or refund policy.
1. WARRANTY PERIOD
GreenDoor Systems provides a one (1) year limited hardware warranty beginning on the date of delivery.
This warranty applies only to systems purchased directly from GreenDoor Systems and is non-transferable. Purchases made through third-party marketplaces (including but not limited to eBay, Jawa, or resellers) are not covered.
2. WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS
This limited warranty covers verified hardware failures resulting from defects in materials or workmanship under normal consumer use, including:

Internal hardware components such as CPU, GPU, motherboard, RAM, storage devices, and power supply

Assembly-related issues caused by improper installation at the time of build

Labor required to repair or replace a covered defective component

Remote technical support for diagnostics and troubleshooting
Coverage is limited strictly to the repair or replacement of defective hardware.
3. WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
This warranty does not cover:
Software & Data

Operating system issues
-
Driver conflicts or updates
-
Software corruption or malware
-
User-installed programs or configuration changes
-
Data loss of any kind
Customers are solely responsible for maintaining backups. GreenDoor Systems is not liable for lost or corrupted data under any circumstances.
User Damage & Environmental Factors

Physical damage, drops, or impact
-
Liquid damage or spills
-
Electrical damage, power surges, or improper grounding
-
Improper ventilation, extreme heat, dust buildup, or environmental misuse
Unauthorized Modifications

Overclocking, undervolting, or BIOS flashing beyond factory specifications

Installation or removal of hardware without written approval from GreenDoor Systems
-
Use of non-approved third-party components or accessories
Commercial / Abusive Use
-
Cryptocurrency mining
-
Server, render farm, or 24/7 sustained workloads
-
Any use beyond normal consumer-grade expectations
Any evidence of the above may immediately void the warranty in full.
4. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS
Step 1: Remote Diagnostics
All warranty claims begin with remote troubleshooting. Customers must cooperate fully, including providing logs, photos, videos, or system access if requested.
Step 2: RMA Authorization
If a hardware defect is confirmed, GreenDoor Systems will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Customers are responsible for shipping the system or component to GreenDoor Systems

Systems must be returned in original packaging with protective foam

Damage caused by improper packaging is not covered
Step 3: Repair or Replacement
GreenDoor Systems will repair or replace the defective component using:

New or refurbished parts
-
Functionally equivalent or superior components if the original is unavailable
Exact brand or model matching is not guaranteed.
5. SHIPPING DURING WARRANTY SERVICE

Customers are responsible for inbound shipping costs

GreenDoor Systems will determine outbound shipping method at its discretion

Shipping damage caused by improper packaging voids warranty coverage

Shipping delays or carrier issues are not grounds for refund or replacement
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
This warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy for hardware defects.
GreenDoor Systems’ liability is limited strictly to the repair or replacement of covered hardware. We are not responsible for:

Data loss

Software issues
-
Loss of use
-
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
7. WARRANTY VOID CONDITIONS
GreenDoor Systems reserves the right to deny or void warranty coverage if:

The system shows signs of abuse, neglect, or unauthorized modification

Required diagnostics are refused

Components are missing or altered
-
Serial numbers or identifiers are removed or tampered with
