Shipping policy

OVERVIEW

GreenDoor Systems ships custom-built computer systems and related products directly to customers within the United States. Because our products are high-value and often built to order, this Shipping Policy is intentionally strict and designed to clearly define responsibility, risk transfer, and delivery expectations.

By placing an order with GreenDoor Systems, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. ORDER PROCESSING TIME

All orders are processed within 1–14 business days after payment has been received, excluding weekends and FedEx-recognized holidays.

Processing time includes, but is not limited to:

  • Component procurement

  • System assembly

  • Configuration and testing

  • Packaging and preparation for shipment

Processing times are estimates and not guaranteed. During periods of high order volume, component shortages, or operational delays, processing times may be extended. GreenDoor Systems is not liable for delays related to order processing but will notify customers of significant delays when feasible.

2. SHIPPING CARRIER AND METHOD

All orders are shipped exclusively via FedEx. The specific FedEx service level (Ground, Express, Freight, or equivalent) is selected at our discretion based on:

  • Package size and weight

  • Destination

  • Declared value

  • Customer-selected options when available

GreenDoor Systems reserves the right to modify the shipping service if required to ensure safe delivery.

3. SHIPPING COSTS

All shipping costs are paid by the customer.

Shipping charges are calculated based on:

  • Package dimensions and weight

  • Destination address

  • Selected or assigned FedEx service

Shipping charges are displayed prior to checkout or itemized on the invoice. Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has shipped. GreenDoor Systems does not mark up carrier shipping rates.

4. DELIVERY ESTIMATES

Delivery dates and transit times provided at checkout or by FedEx are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Delivery timelines begin once the package has been transferred to FedEx, not when the order is placed. GreenDoor Systems is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Shipping carriers

  • Weather conditions

  • Mechanical failures

  • Customs or security processes

  • Events beyond our control

Carrier delays do not qualify for refunds, returns, or order cancellations.

5. RISK OF LOSS AND TITLE TRANSFER

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the shipment is tendered to FedEx.

GreenDoor Systems is not responsible for:

  • Loss, theft, or damage occurring after carrier acceptance

  • Theft after delivery confirmation, including porch theft

  • Delays or misdelivery once tracking shows delivery completion

Signature confirmation may be required for high-value shipments at our discretion.

6. SHIPPING ADDRESS ACCURACY

Customers are solely responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout.

GreenDoor Systems is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses

  • Packages delivered to the wrong address due to customer error

  • Additional shipping or rerouting charges incurred as a result of address issues

Any additional shipping costs resulting from address corrections, re-delivery, or return-to-sender events are the responsibility of the customer.

7. DAMAGED, LOST, OR STOLEN PACKAGES

Shipping Damage

Any damage sustained during shipping must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Customers must:

  • Retain all original packaging materials

  • Provide clear photographic evidence of external and internal packaging and the damaged item

Failure to report shipping damage within 48 hours may void eligibility for repair, replacement, or claim assistance.

Lost Shipments

If a package is lost in transit, GreenDoor Systems may assist with initiating a FedEx claim. Resolution timelines are subject entirely to FedEx’s investigation process.

GreenDoor Systems does not guarantee claim approval and is not responsible for carrier claim outcomes.

8. CLAIMS AND CARRIER INVESTIGATIONS

All shipping claims are subject to FedEx policies and investigation timelines. During an active carrier investigation:

  • Refunds, replacements, or repairs may be delayed

  • Claims may require customer cooperation and documentation

GreenDoor Systems reserves the right to await carrier resolution before taking further action.

9. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

At this time, GreenDoor Systems ships only within the United States unless explicitly agreed to in writing. Any approved international shipments may be subject to additional terms, duties, taxes, and fees, which are the responsibility of the customer.

10. POLICY CHANGES

GreenDoor Systems reserves the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of purchase governs the transaction.
